We bring growth and stability to the rural, agricultural-based cities of Watsonville and Salinas. These communities were historically locked out of the economic opportunity and digital innovation brought by the tech to other California communities. We knew that our kids deserve the very best to nurture their talents, wisdom, and passions so we built our own thriving center for technology and empowerment that prepares our young people to prosper in the workforce. Digital NEST spins a web of connection and opportunity across the entire community.

Good resource for incubators and accelerators in Chicago. I don't think BLUE1647 is still in operation (url points to German operation) but archived site indicates a good model for comprehensive innovation center. Interesting profile - blue1647 focusing on workforce development for youth and displaced workers. BLUE1647 is an award-winning network of education & technology innovation platforms that foster economic development in technology and 21st Century skills through people development (classes, workshops, and events around technology), & workforce development (through youth and adult technology programs to prepare individuals for high-demand jobs). New BLUE1647 series wants to help local businesses better utilize their data The Curriculum is a fulfillment of one of our goals, which is to start an ongoing conversation between technologists and the community,” said program director Sebastian James in a statement. “There is a lot of knowledge and experience about data and technology that can easily be passed on to business and social entrepreneurs. CivicBLUE wants to use the Curriculum as a conduit for the community to learn and use as a catalyst for innovation.” This organization's exempt status was automatically revoked by the IRS for failure to file a Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N, or 990-PF for 3 consecutive years. Further investigation and due diligence are warranted.
