Our mission since the year 2000 at Closing The Digital Gap (CTDG) has been to provide low-to moderate income residents of the service area the opportunity to earn or purchase a low-cost computer, receive Computer/Internet training and access internet services for low-cost, along with assisting participants in making connections with community resources through referrals for further training or resources that may lead to employment and/or educational enrichment for participants and their families.
We further service micro-enterprises/entrepreneurs and small non-profits to support with technology and training in Michigan and Texas both online, in-seat, remotely, and blended delivery of training, programs and services.

As an NCCER accredited assessment center, we offer more than 80 different assessments, in over 70 different craft areas. When you successfully complete testing, we use the NCCER's Registry System to record your completions and you are issued the appropriate credentials. It is these portable, industry-recognized credentials that many industry leaders look for when making employment decisions.
Techie Youth is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit registered charity of NYC focused on helping teens in foster care as well as at-risk youth by providing technology-driven career-training, education and related resources that result in long-term sustainable solutions to help youth grow into financially self-sufficient professionals.

My goals now are to develop the California Digital Arts Studio Partnership, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a domestic media workforce, improve educational outcomes for youth 13-22 and building civic and social capital through youth engagement using digital media.
Digital Bridge works to open up new opportunities to impoverished people in our local and global communities who have been left behind in technology. By working with local nonprofits to provide technical service and computer lab donations, we've implemented over 20 computer labs spanning across three continents. Our impact has reached as far as improving the quality of education in rural Kenya to providing tools to find employment in inner city Milwaukee.
We believe that poverty can be further diminished through technology access from the goodwill of partnered nonprofits and large entity sponsors. At Digital Bridge, our goal is to turn one person's trash into another's treasure. In the spirit of the open source movement, we have made our processes available so others can join our mission and help us create a better world.

Digital Workforce Education Society's purpose is to provide the underserved with skills needed to function productively in today's digital economy. This mission is facilitated by supporting other non-profit organizations that directly provide education and services.
Specifically, we educate organizations and their staff to use technology more efficiently, we provide educational solutions using technology to the unemployed, underemployed and disabled in low-income areas, and we extend these same opportunities worldwide through distance learning and collaboration via our chapter network.

All across the country, innovative education leaders and classroom teachers are engaging, motivating, and nurturing students to develop mindsets for lifelong learning. And yet, huge gaps exist between learning outcomes, graduation rates, and college readiness of students based on race, class, and where they live.
Gaps exist between high-performing and under-performing schools based on differences in access to funding and resources, community commitment, and the willingness of school leaders to innovate. Gaps exist between the abilities of adults to be productive in a rapidly changing global economy and good citizens in a democracy based on the quality of their experiences in school.
Our vision is that all people at every stage of their lives have access to learning experiences that help them acquire the knowledge and skills they need to thrive and continuously learn in an ever-changing world.
